Tell us about your career:
My career began 15 years ago as a temp where I started from the ground up and I mean the ground up lol. I progressed from a technician to a supervisor for the student communities before transitioning into a management roll for single/multifamily homes. Eventually, I made the jump to the vendor side of the industry. These roles served as essential steppingstones in providing the foundational experience necessary to become exactly the FSTR I need to be. Teaching the next generation is my passion!!!
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
Master the fundamentals and don't be afraid to start at the bottom. My journey from a temp to technician to a facilitator taught me that every role- no matter how small it feels- is a building block for your expertise. Stay curious, ask questions, and realize that understanding the "WHY" behind the repair is just as important as the "HOW".
