2024 DE&I SCHOLARSHIP

The AANC Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Scholarship was established in 2022 as an opportunity for multifamily housing industry professionals from historically underrepresented demographics to participate in education and networking opportunities at Education & Legislative Conference. Scholarship Recipients receive paid entry to the 2024 Conference in Raleigh (April 29 - May 1), lodging and a $100 stipend.

APPLICATION CRITERIA

  • Applicant must be an AANC member through one of the seven local affiliates.
  • Applicant must identify as a member of a historically underrepresented group, including,
    but not limited to: (1) racial and/or ethnic minority groups, (2) women, (3) LGBTQIA+, (4)
    differently-abled, or (5) disadvantaged socio-economic background.
  • Applicant must be willing to fully participate in the conference and grant all permissions
    to use their image for promotional purposes.

Applicant must submit an application, a resume and a cover letter addressing the following question: What role does DE&I play in your professional development, and how will attending the AANC Education and Legislative Conference help broaden your development in the DE&I space?
