2026 DE&I SCHOLARSHIP



The 
AANC DE&I Scholarship was established as an opportunity for multifamily housing industry professionals from historically underrepresented demographics to participate in education and networking opportunities at the annual AANC CONNECTed Conference.
2026 Scholarship Recipients will receive paid entry to the 2026 CONNECTed Conference in Raleigh (May 11-13, 2026), lodging, and a $100 stipend.

APPLICATION CRITERIA
  • Applicant must be an AANC member through one of the seven local affiliates.
  • Applicant must identify as a member of a historically underrepresented group, including,
    but not limited to: (1) racial and/or ethnic minority groups, (2) women, (3) LGBTQIA+, (4)
    differently-abled, or (5) disadvantaged socio-economic background.
  • Applicant must be willing to fully participate in the conference and grant all permissions
    to use their image for promotional purposes.

Applicant must submit an application (links below) a resume, and a cover letter addressing the following question:

What role does DE&I play in your professional development, and how will attending the AANC Education and Legislative Conference help broaden your development in the DE&I space?
