Piedmont Triad Apartment Association
19th Annual Food Drive: For 19 years, PTAA has held a summer food drive in support of Second Harvest Food Bank’s fight against childhood hunger in the summer months. Each year, PTAA member apartment communities and supplier partners raise meals to provide to children in the Triad who may not have enough to eat when school is out and they don’t have regular access to breakfast and lunch at school.
When you support the PTAA food drive for Second Harvest Food Bank, every dollar you give provides 7 meals for someone in need in the Triad community!
Triangle Apartment Association
Xcel hosted another very popular Happy Hour Headshots during the Networking time at TAA’s 2024 Membership Dinner Meeting. It was extremely well received with 46 members taking advantage of the opportunity for a new headshot. We asked for a minimum $20 donation and raised $1,030 for the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC. The money raised will provide 5,150 meals. Copper Circle
Copper Circle is the name of the new entity created by the merging of A New Lease on Life & Education Foundation.
Copper Circle's mission is to build stronger communities by harnessing the skills and resources of the rental housing industry to advance professional development and efforts to end homelessness.
Copper Circle hosts different fundraising initiatives throughout the year such as the Reverse Trade Show and the Leaves to Leases 5k.
Wilmington Apartment Association
2024 Charity of the Year: Kids Making It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit youth woodworking program that teaches valuable vocational, entrepreneurial and life skills to at-risk, low income and disadvantaged youth.
Our goal for every student we serve is for them to stay in school, stay out of trouble, and transition successfully into either the workplace or college.
