Tell us about your career:
I started in the industry 3 years ago completely green. I was immediately hooked and became extremely passionate about this industry. Within a year I was promoted to Assistant Manager and within another year I was promoted again to Property Manager. I have served on AAWNC's board as a director of operations for 2 years and for my my 3rd year, in 2022, I will be serving as the Vice President. I also am the committee chair for AAWNC social media committee and the awards banquet planner. I was awarded Assistant Manager of the Year in 2020, which was an amazing honor. I look forward to being a part of this industry for many more years and to continue to be inspired by the strong and talented leaders in my life.
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
ASK QUESTIONS! You do not know what you do not know, so be sure to ask questions and truly listen and absorb the answers. Also, mistakes happen but you need to be able to face your mistake and learn from it.
