Tell us about your career:
I joined the multifamily industry in February 2016 as a Sales Executive for RentPath covering Greenville SC and added Asheville NC to my portfolio in 2018. In July of 2020 I joined the Parcel Pending team as a Regional Sales Executive covering the Carolinas, DC and Virginia. Parcel Pending provides package management solutions specifically designed for MultiFamily. In March of 2021, I was promoted to Regional Sales Director of The Carolinas and Florida.
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
The best thing about this industry is how large/broad it is, but how small it can feel. That is because relationships truly drive this industry. My advice to anyone starting out in my field would be plug in and connect. Don't just join a local association, serve as well. Join committees and participate in events. You will make life long connections and friendships.
Anything else you would like to share:
My mother worked in the multifamily industry many years ago and had always encouraged me to look in to it. When the opportunity presented itself in 2016, I jumped in and haven't looked back. Working in the multi-family industry was the best decision I ever made.
