Tell us about your career:

I started my career in property management back in 2001 when I did an internship one summer at one of our student properties in Columbia, SC. After I graduated from Auburn University in 2000, I joined Carter-Haston Real Estate based in Nashville, TN and worked as an Assistant Manager in Atlanta, GA. I moved from Atlanta to Orlando, FL later in 2001 where I completed my CAM Certification and continued my growth with our organization. In 2002 I moved to Columbia, SC where I worked as a Property Manager for 8 years before being promoted to an Area Manager role in 2010. During my time in Columbia, SC, I served several offices with the AAGC before ultimately serving as President. I also served in several capacities on the SCAA Board as well and was the SCAA President. I moved to Charleston, SC in 2012 as an Area Manager before being promoted to a Regional Manager and then a Regional Vice President. Currently, I'm a Regional Vice President and serve the Carolina markets and St. Louis, MO. Other than my day job, I have worked and served on several committees on NAA and was recently elected as a Region 4 Vice President for NAA.
