Tell us about your career:
I’ve built a career rooted in service, strategy, and connection. Over the past nine years, I’ve worked across residential and multifamily real estate, consistently aligning my professional responsibilities with my core passion of helping people.
After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing strategy from the University of North Carolina Wilmington while simultaneously obtaining my NC Real Estate License. My career began in residential real estate, where I guided individuals and families through major life decisions, buying and selling their homes. This role sharpened my ability to listen closely, communicate clearly, and have a keen attention to detail which remains central to how I work today.
During my on-site roles with Camden Property Trust, I was the first point of contact for prospective and current residents. Whether I was walking someone through their first apartment tour or resolving a concern, I saw every interaction as an opportunity to create a positive experience. My ability to foster strong relationships was key to resident satisfaction and retention.
Now, as a Sales Associate with Apartments.com at CoStar Group for almost 4 years, I support property management teams by helping them market their communities, focusing on unique selling propositions. I take pride in understanding each client’s unique challenges and providing tailored solutions that drive results. This consultative approach reflects my belief that collaboration leads to better outcomes, and that success is shared.
Across every role, my drive has been consistent: helping others achieve their goals by being a reliable, empathetic, and resourceful partner.
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
One of the most important lessons early in your multifamily career is simple: every interaction matters. Treat everyone, onsite teams, vendors, regionals, residents, with genuine respect. This industry is smaller than it seems, and the people you meet today will often resurface later in ways you don’t expect.
Maintain a positive, adaptable mindset. Multifamily is full of pivots and your attitude during those moments will define your reputation just as much as your results. People remember who stayed positive, collaborative, and solution-oriented when things weren’t easy.
Finally, lean into your local Apartment Associations. Get involved early, show up consistently, and focus on building real relationships not just contacts. The connections you form through association involvement often become long-term career partners, mentors, and can present opportunities you couldn’t have planned for.
