Tell us about your career:

I've been in the industry for 14 years. I originally began my career in student housing outside of UNCC. I fell into the industry as a young college student needing free rent and found that I liked the multi-faceted skill set that this career requires. From student housing, I transitioned into conventional, and have worked properties of varying sizes and classes. I'm now a Community Manager with my CAM designation with an amazing company and I'm looking forward to the future.

What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:

Remember that people are at the heart of everything we do. And find your own style of organization...you're going to need it!
