Tell us about your career:

I began my career on-site as a leasing agent more than 25 years ago and worked my way up to become a Regional Vice President. I eventually switched over to the vendor side and began servicing friends of the industry. I am now a vendor partner to many PMCs across the country and I absolutely love what I do.

What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:

If you would like to thrive on either the PMC side or the vendor side you must get involved in your local apartment association. It is vital that you are seen and that you have a voice. Volunteering your time in the association by attending events, meetings, and sitting on panels is vital for your career in this industry. Networking is a must.
