Tell us about your career:
With over 35 years of experience in the multifamily industry, I bring a perspective shaped by decades on both the property management and vendor partner sides. I began my career in property management, where I had the privilege of working with some of the most respected names in the industry, including PRG, AvalonBay Communities and Bell Partners.
Nearly 20 years ago, I transitioned to the vendor side of the business, where I have since held key roles at organizations such as ForRent.com, Valet Living and Checkpoint ID. Each opportunity has deepened my understanding of property management needs and strengthened my ability to deliver innovative, value-driven solutions.
Today, I'm proud to serve as Regional Vice President over the Mid-Atlantic for Redi Carpet. Here, I lead and support exceptional teams across Charlotte, Raleigh, Greensboro, Wilmington, Virginia Beach, and Richmond. I am passionate about cultivating strong partnerships, driving operational excellence, and contributing to the continued growth and success of our industry.
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
Whether you are managing a community, supporting residents, or serving as a vendor partner, success comes from truly listening, being responsive, and building trust.
Ask questions, invite opportunities to learn, to grow. Also, remember that your reputation is everything in this industry. Treat everyone with respect and professionalism. While the property management industry is large - it is very interconnected with few degrees of separation.
