Tell us about your career:
15 years of onsite experience in property management. Hired as groundskeeper and worked my way up. Joined Greystar as a maintenance supervisor in Charlotte for 10 years. Joined CCS is May of 2022 as a sales representative. Have become a sales director and continue to build our team as the company grows throughout southeast and beyond.
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
Do not get lost in what you do everyday. Focus on who you are and how you do your job everyday to the best of your ability. I always thought of myself as a over paid janitor when I was on site. All along I was becoming something that is worth something to a lot of people. Once I stepped outside of onsite and came to supplier side my eyes were opened to the management capabilities I possessed and the true leader I actually was. I continue to say thanks and encourage every onsite employee I can. It is easy to get lost in the everyday responsibilities and the 500 personalities they deal with per week. They are all more special than most of us think.
