Hurricane Florence & Hurricane Michael - How You Can Help

North Carolina is still recovering from Hurricane Florence, and is now also recovering from Hurricane Michael. A few ways to help those affected in North Carolina and those affected across the Southeast.

• In Wilmington, over 1100 apartments were destroyed displacing residents. If you have a community with availability in the Wilmington area, please email kim@aanconline.org and we will get this information to the Wilmington Apartment Association. 
• Donate
  • Hatching Hope is still accepting monetary donations to support the Hurricane Florence relief effort and now also accepting monetary donations for the Hurricane Michael relief effort. Visit Hatching Hope to donate. 
  • American Red Cross: the National Apartment Association donated $10,000 in September to the Red Cross in response to Hurricane Florence, and again donated another $10,000 to the Red Cross in response to Hurricane Michael. If you would like to donate, text REDCROSS to 90999 to donate $10 to American Red Cross Disaster Relief or visit The American Red Cross.
