Tell us about your career:

I started my career in the multi-family industry during college and worked part-time for a property management company in the Greensboro market. I really enjoyed the customer facing opportunities that is provided in a leasing job and moved quickly through the various positions. I also received NALP and CAM designations and was awared the Leasing Professional of the Year award, one of the highlights of my career. I eventually moved into a lease up manager role within the Student Housing side of the industry and went full fledge into a fast-pace world of property management. After 8 years in multi-family, I moved to Chicago and began my career with CORT Furniture in the Higher Education division. The unique housing challenges within that side of the industry really helped excel my strengths and skills when working with customers. Ultimately, my career and home-life brought me back to the Carolinas, where I now work with top tier universities and multi-family customers. It has been 13 years since my first time in the industry and I couldn't think of a better environment to be in. I love the associations and the continued work that we all do to make our jobs so enjoyable.
