Tell us about your career:
I have been in property management for 25 years. I currently manage a 233-unit property with a team of six.
Throughout my 25 years, I have managed properties in Greensboro, Raleigh, and Augusta, GA with property sizes between 879-198 units and teams anywhere from 3-10 team members.
I am currently scheduled to receive my CAM designation. My goal as a manager is to teach my team all that I have learned throughout my career. I want my team, property, and company to succeed.
I am very organized and feel that has helped me advance and teach as well as I have. I am a team player and love what I do.
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
Never take something personally if you have not caused the issue. Be organized and smile. Treat others as you would want to be treated. Create a journal book/calendar, and document everything.
