Tell us about your career:

I spent five years in textile manufacturing and followed that with eleven years in the airline industry. I learned the importance of team work and when to be urgent and when to stop and breathe for a minute.

My multi-family career began with a mixed doubles tennis team where I met Mary. We made a great "match" and married.  Soon after, we started our Apartment Dynamics, our Property Management Company.  

It was very helpful to bring my experience in the "Corporate World" to our small business. Over our twenty plus year journey, we have always worked to put our team first because they are the key to success.  I frequently say, "We are surrounded by Greatness."  We have worked hard to make sure we have Great clients, Great team members, Great vendor partners, and Great residents.

What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:

Two things:

• Always be willing to try new things.
• Never burn a bridge. It's a small industry and you will work with almost everyone again.

Anything else you would like to share:

Be quick to acknowledge your mistakes. Don't make excuses, they only satisfy the one giving them. Learn from them and grow to become better in all you do.
