Tell us about your career:
My career at Bell Partners has been a journey of consistent growth and impact over the last five years. I began in 2020 as a Leasing Consultant at a stabilized asset, where I quickly earned the nickname "Leasing Machine" from upper leadership. My skills were showcased with excellence and high visibility during 2021 and 2022 when I transitioned to a lease-up property and was able to drive significant success. In fact, I was honored to be named Regional Leasing Consultant of the Year back-to-back in 2021 and 2022. This led to my promotion to Assistant Community Manager. I then gained invaluable insights into broader business operations during a strategic year in an administrative corporate role. Now, as a Community Manager, I bring a holistic understanding of property operations, from driving revenue to fostering strong team dynamics. I'm excited about the opportunity to further contribute and grow within the industry, especially after being recognized for AANC 20 on the Rise this year. I'm incredibly excited about the next chapter of my career as I recently transitioned to Greystar, a leader in the industry. This move represents a thrilling opportunity to further contribute my diverse skill set and continue my growth journey within property management.
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
Be a sponge and soak up as much as you can. Seriously, don't be afraid to ask questions, observe everything, and learn from every interaction – whether it's with residents, colleagues, or vendors. The more you understand about all aspects of the property, the better you'll become.
Anything else you would like to share:
Beyond my specific roles, I'd like to share that I'm truly passionate about creating exceptional living experiences and fostering thriving communities. There's a unique satisfaction in seeing residents happy and knowing you've contributed to making their home a great place. I love the dynamic nature of property management – no two days are alike – and I believe success comes from being a 'sponge' for new knowledge, staying curious, and learning from every experience and every person you encounter. As a Community Manager, I'm passionate about fostering a positive work environment, developing my team members, and ensuring everyone feels valued and motivated. When your team thrives, your property thrives, and that's a philosophy I bring to every role.
