Tell us about your career: 

I have been in the multifamily for over 12 years with both onsite and corporate experience. My current portfolio with Morgan Properties consists of over 30 communities and more than 7,000 units in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.

What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:

Pay attention to all roles and learn to do as much as you can. You may think you have an idea of where you want to advance in your career, but multifamily is multifaceted. There are so many different routes that you can take and you won't know what you love until you try it.

Anything else you would like to share:

When I first started in the industry I was a part-time leasing consultant just looking to make some extra cash until I went back to school. Within 3 years I was promoted to Assistant Manager -- you never know where life will take you. Take a chance on yourself!
