Tell us about your career:
I started my career in the multifamily industry in January 2010, and over the years it has become so much more than just a career to me. This industry has challenged me, helped me grow, and introduced me to incredible people and opportunities along the way. I joined Carlisle in 2011 as a Property Manager overseeing communities throughout the Winston Salem region, and today I'm proud to serve as Marketing Manager. My onsite experience gave me a strong understanding of operations, resident relationships, and the day-to-day challenges teams face, which has helped shape the way I approach my role today. Before multifamily, I earned my Paralegal degree from Las Vegas College in 2004, but I eventually found my path in community management. Looking back, I’m grateful for the opportunities, lessons, and people that helped me grow throughout my journey.
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
Don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone or take on new opportunities, even if they feel unfamiliar at first. Some of the best career growth comes from experiences you never originally planned for.
Anything else you would like to share:
One thing I’ve learned is that career paths do not always happen exactly as planned. I’m excited to continue growing, learning, and being part of an industry that is always evolving.
