Krysti Keser is a seasoned Regional Manager with over 24 years of experience in the multifamily housing industry. A graduate of George Mason University with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree, Krysti has held leadership roles with some of the most respected names in the industry, including Summit Properties, Camden Living, UDR, Bell Partners, CARROLL, and The RMR Group. Her career path reflects her dedication and drive—rising through the ranks from Leasing Consultant to Regional Manager while overseeing portfolios across Virginia, Washington DC, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and Kentucky.
Krysti is deeply involved in industry leadership and advocacy. She is the Immediate Past President of the Wilmington Apartment Association and currently chairs its Governance Committee. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Apartment Association of North Carolina, contributing to both the Membership and Affordable Housing Committees, and acts as an alternate delegate with the National Apartment Association. Additionally, she was appointed to a three-year term on the Workforce Housing Advisory Committee for New Hanover County and the City of Wilmington.
Recognized for her outstanding leadership, Krysti has received numerous accolades, including being named Regional Manager of the Year by the Wilmington Apartment Association in 2017 and 2021, and by CARROLL in 2022. In 2023, she was honored as a Globe St. Women of Influence award winner in the Mentor category.
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
Listen and take a lot of notes as you will refer back to them often. Wear comfortable shoes and never burn a bridge!
