Tell us about your career:
I began my career in property management over 10 years ago after being introduced to the industry by my sister, who was already working in the field. What started as an opportunity to explore something new quickly developed into a rewarding and long-term career path.
I began in entry-level roles and steadily advanced into property management positions. Along the way, I’ve gained hands-on experience in operations, tenant relations, and overall property oversight. Each role and property has allowed me to build on my knowledge, strengthen my skills, and continue growing both personally and professionally. It has also given me the opportunity to build strong relationships and become more connected to the communities I serve.
I take pride in how far I’ve come in the industry and remain excited about continuing to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
Being raised in Charlotte has made this journey especially meaningful. I’ve had the opportunity to watch the city’s real estate market evolve and expand over the years, and it’s been rewarding to grow alongside it while contributing to that progress.
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
My biggest advice for someone just starting in property management is to be patient and stay willing to learn. It’s a field that requires both people skills and attention to detail, and those skills develop over time with experience.
