Tell us about your career:
I began property management nine years ago. I started out as a leasing consultant with no experience and within five years I was a multi-site property manager with three properties in the downtown Raleigh market. I currently work for Highmark Residential as a community Director in Cary and I train and Mentor new hires. I love training new and existing employees and seeing them grow, that is definitely one of my favorite parts of my job.
I am a member of the TAA, I am a Director on the Board of Directors for New Lease on Life, I also serve on the New Lease on Life services committee, recently started inquiring about joining the membership committee for the AANC.
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
Join your local association and get involved. Be patient with yourself as you learn and challenge yourself daily.

Always be kind, you never know how a simple smile or a few kind words can completely change someone’s day.
