Tell us about your career:

I began my career in multifamily in 2003 as a leasing agent in Charlotte, NC. Over the past two decades, I have developed a broad and respected background across all types of communities—from luxury uptown high-rises to income-based housing—building a deep understanding of operations, resident experience, and property performance.

My commitment to excellence has been recognized through multiple Top Performer and Diamond Awards. I’ve earned my CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) designation and later became the youngest professional at the time to achieve my CAPS (Certified Apartment Property Supervisor) designation through the National Apartment Association. I also earned my North Carolina Real Estate License, reflecting my dedication to continuous learning within the housing industry.

Known for my leadership, operational expertise, and ability to elevate both teams and communities, I have built a strong reputation for delivering results and strengthening overall performance. I take pride in supporting communities, developing successful teams, and contributing to an industry I truly love.

What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:

One of the most important lessons in this field is learning not to take things personally. A home represents stability, safety, and structure for individuals and families, so emotions naturally run high. Residents may become upset, raise their voices, or say things out of frustration—but it’s rarely about you as a person.

Always remember: they are reacting to their situation, not to you.
