Tell us about your career:
I started my career in military housing, while my husband was in the Navy stationed at the Norfolk Naval Base in Virginia. After moving back to Asheville, I started my multifamily career with Pegasus Residential (14 years ago ) where I found my career home! I have worked on renovations, lease-ups, Class A, B, C - you name it, I have done it! I love this industry and the growth opportunities available. I find it so rewarding to be able to watch my team grow and advance in their career!
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
If you are looking for a long-term career, the multifamily industry can be that for you! Find the right company that aligns with your values. I found that with Pegasus Residential. And remember to be kind! We deal with craziness on a daily basis, and we need to remember that we are on the same side, regardless on which company we work for. This is a small industry, you never know who you may work with next!
