Tell us about your career:

I have been in the business for 26 years. I started as a Leasing Consultant with AvalonBay Communities where I spent 12 years. I held positions of ACM, CM, Sr CM, Portfolio Manager and Portfolio Director. In 2008 I started with Crosland and spent 18 months as a Director of Property Managment, before moving to Bell Partners in 2010.  I have been with Bell for 14 years. I started as a Regional Manager and was promoted to VP of Operations. I am responsible for a portfolio of Properties in Charlotte, NC and Denver CO. 

What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:

Stick with it. It can be a very rewarding career. I never thought when I started 26 years ago that I would end up being a VP.
