Tell us about your career:
I have 27 years experience in general contruction from new to repairs and 20 years in electrical and plumbing. My maintenance experience includes hotels, industrial plants, and apartments. My journey in multi-housing began in July 2020 when I signed on as the Maintenance Technician at Matthew Grande with Phillips Management Group. In November 2021, I was promoted to Maintenance Supervisor for Matthew Grande, where I continue to serve.
I have been honored to receive the prestigious PTAA Diamond Awards for Maintenance Technician of the Year for the year 2021, and Maintenance Supervisor of the Year for the year 2022.
In 2023, I received my CAMT certification. I also have my CPO and EPA Confined spaces, flagger, DOT-driving over the road with class-B trucks, Welding, Excel, Power Point, and Word Certifications. I love participating in the training offered by the PTAA and PMG. I love learning new things and networking with others in the industry.
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
Always strive for excellence no matter the position. And if you grow, stay humble.

I always treat my residents as I would like to be treated if I was living here with my family.
