Tell us about your career:

I truly have the greatest job in the world! I am blessed with the opportunity to travel and engage with the greatest individuals and companies representing the multifamily industry. Specifically for Chadwell Supply, I oversee a team of eight National Account Managers that manage corporate accounts from Indy to Philly, and south through Alabama and Georgia. Our main responsibility is ensuring that the same value, quality and consistency that we promote for Chadwell Supply is experienced throughout the portfolios of our owner/operator partners.

Prior to Chadwell Supply, I was a Regional Property Manager for an incredible affordable housing company out of Greensboro. Learning the ropes and gaining expertise in asset management, on-site team management, compliance and resident relations has proven to be invaluable in my development and success as a supplier partner.

Partnering and volunteering within our state's amazing associations has offered a platform to extend my network and fuel my personal growth in our industry. Beyond my position with the PTAA Board of Directors, I serve and have led numerous other committees. I live that membership requires more than just attendance, it's all about personal involvement.

What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:

Identify your customer's needs and make that your mission. Service fuels success. In a world where "me" seems to supersede "us," work to identify what's truly needed. Once you identify the need, then determine how your time, talents and treasure are a solution. There is very little innovation in multifamily, therefore successful relationships are far more about who you are than about what you do (or sell).
