Tell us about your career:

In May of 2022, I had the honor of graduating from Elon University, having obtained a Bachelor's degree in the field of Strategic Communications. Following this significant achievement, I commenced my professional journey in July of the same year, delving into the multifamily industry with my new employer, Ginkgo Residential. In this time, I have gained invaluable insight and knowledge pertaining to multifamily and marketing. Prior to this experience, I was uncertain about the trajectory of my career path; however, I am elated with where I have landed. The multifamily industry has a career for everyone, and I can't wait to see where it takes me!

What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:

Build Relationships: Networking is crucial in any industry, including multifamily marketing. Regardless of whatever your age is you should try and connect with peers, mentors, and industry leaders to gain insights and advice. Attend events and conferences to expand your network.

HAVE FUN! Life isn't that serious. The multifamily industry can be challenging, but staying positive and maintaining a can-do attitude can make all the difference. Be adaptable, resilient, and maintain a sense of humor to navigate any obstacles that may arise. Be YOURSELF!

Anything else you would like to share:

When you embrace your unique qualities, you can differentiate yourself from others and create a more memorable impression. You should always try to showcase your individuality, such as your personal style, sense of humor, or interests in a way that aligns with your professional image and the goals of your organization. When you are authentic and comfortable with who you are, you can foster a sense of trust and mutual respect with your colleagues, and this can lead to better teamwork, collaboration, and productivity.
