Tell us about your career:
I fell into the multifamily industry many years ago when the community I lived in had an open leasing position. I applied for the position, which was intended to be seasonal, and quickly fell in love with the fast paced, ever-changing environment. I stuck with it and was soon promoted to an Assistant Manager and eventually Community Manager.
I have managed mainly class A properties including garden style, mid-rises, high rises and lease ups. My favorite part of the industry is meeting new people, whether that's residents, vendors, clients or community members. I also love the challenge. No day is the same and there is always something new to learn.
After being in the industry for many years, I made a change and took a Community Manager position with Greystar. This inspired me to also refresh my knowledge and I received my CAM certification. I have committed many years to the industry and continue to focus on personal and industry growth.
