What does volunteer leader mean to you?
I believe that to be a leader, you MUST be willing to first serve. This industry has provided so much to me, so I find it instinctive and natural to give back to it.

What advice do you have for others who are looking to volunteer with AANC?
Start by finding a committee involved in something you enjoy. Don’t only attend the meetings but speak up, contribute and most importantly be there for the event and make a difference.

What is your favorite AANC moment?
Just watching how much the AANC Conference has grown over these few short years thanks to the ground work and endless hours put in by the leaders and visionaries of our North Carolina association.

What is one piece of networking advice you would give to others?
Remember that no matter which company you work for or where you are, you represent yourself and your personal brand first. Always stay true to your core values and your moral compass. This will create value, credibility and trust in the industry and your customers will be your customers no matter where you are.

How do you define AANC?
The state chapter of NAA made up of the seven state affiliates. Helping to bring all seven affiliates together in one unified voice and advocacy.

If time was not an issue, what is one new thing you would like to learn?
I would love to one day get my pilots license!
