Tell us about your career:
I began my career in property management in 2011, when I was hired as a leasing consultant at a large student housing community in Greensboro. From day one, I was determined to learn every facet of the business, relying on the guidance of strong mentors and absorbing as much knowledge as possible. That early drive to grow and lead has shaped every step of my career.
Since 2018, I’ve worked across the Southeast and Texas as a Regional Manager, overseeing a diverse portfolio of stabilized communities, lease-ups, student housing, and high-rise communities, which has enabled me to gain a deep understanding of the complexities of high-rise and luxury lease-up operations. In 2019, I was honored to be named Regional Manager of the Year by the Piedmont Triad Apartment Association.
At the heart of my leadership philosophy is a strong belief in cultivating a positive and empowering workplace culture. I’m passionate about creating an environment where my teams are excited to come to work every day—where collaboration, growth, and genuine camaraderie are the norm. I strive to be a culture champion by fostering trust, celebrating both big and small wins, and ensuring that every team member feels valued and supported. Whether it’s rolling up my sleeves to pick up trash, pulling on rain boots to handle a maintenance emergency, or covering the leasing desk so my team can focus on other items, I believe the best leadership happens when you're right there alongside your team.
I hold CAM, CPO, and CAPS designations, bringing nearly 15 years of hands-on industry experience. Born and raised in North Carolina, I take great pride in building strong relationships and helping both my teams and the communities they serve thrive.

Anything else you would like to share:
I’d just add that one of the most rewarding parts of this career has been the opportunity to give back—whether that’s mentoring the next generation of leaders or helping to create a culture where people genuinely enjoy coming to work. Property management is a fast-paced, challenging field, but it’s also one where you can make a real impact on people’s lives, both within your teams and in the communities you serve.
At the end of the day, I believe leadership is about service. If you show up for your team, stay humble, and never stop learning, this industry will give back tenfold.
