Tell us about your career:
My career in property management started in 2020 when I started as a Leasing Specialist in Wilson, NC. The Property Manager at that time took a chance on me, as I had no experience with leasing. I immediately knew that I enjoyed the process of leasing, and being able to interact with people to get them into an amazing community. By 2022, I was promoted to an Assistant Community Manager. I was able to take my knowledge of leasing, and my drive to seek new opportunities to be successful with delinquency/invoicing/events/etc. In 2023 I was able to move into a Community Manager role with another company to gain knowledge and experience. I was awarded the AANC "2024 20 In Their Twenties Scholarship" and attended this years LEAP Conference.
My passion and drive for new challenges allow me to learn new skills, and encourage my team to be the best they can be. My short-term goal is to use my experiences with coming being fresh in the industry and working my way up, as a way to train those looking to do the same. My long-term goal would to be a Area Manager/Regional Manager and even advance my way into a corporate position with an amazing property management company.
